Using Mushroom Buffs to Polish

There are several different kinds of buffs to use however the mushroom buffs seem to work fantastic on the wheels specifically and in more general words the entire car’s metal which is the grill, molding, tips and all the engine parts including the blowers, header, valve covers and manifolds. (including wheels and etc…)

Mushroom buffs can be purchased pretty much anywhere something automotive is sold. Now real quick we want to cover that we are not insisting that you will need one to achieve the highest gloss possible however some people have plenty of oxidation so this is going to use more polish so to reduce the amount of metal polish that you use using a mushroom buff on the end of your drill will save you some money and keep you in business longer.

Also they are very easy to use considering the size of them. These mushroom buffs are not like orbital polishers where you have to use a huge pad to polish out the paint yet they are focused on more specific items with more details in the surface. Thus allowing you to get right down into the metal and all the unique angles with these polishing accessories. You will also realize how fast the oxidation will dissapear and how fast the gloss appears.

Simply add a quarter size drop to the mushroom buff and turn the drill on low when you spread the polish onto the surface where there will be no sling you can turn the speed up if your drill has this option. Make sure that the entire piece is done before removing it that way you will not have to come back a second time. When it comes time to apply the second and final step of our polishing system Sheen Genie gently wipe it on with a soft and clean micro fiber and remember to let it dry for two minutes. The sealer does instantly seal we want to stress that but to make it even easier on you men and “women” it has been chemically designed to powderize meaning it turns into a powdery dust a light haze to be more descriptive thus allowing you to wipe it right off. Repeat this process once every six months and before winter. Extra tip if you will be leaving your car inside the garage for winter months you can always leave the sealer on the metal pieces so that there is no moisture wearing down the protection at all until you remove it then you will still have the lasting results as if you had just applied.

Metal Polish Tips [How to Polish a Keg]

Hello everyone and many people ask us how we polished up our kegs we use in our display. The simple truth is not that we just use our polish to do it. See there is a clear coat so first you must remove this and it is not as simple as taking a steel wool pad and polish to it this clear coat is much stronger that the ones used on your wheels. So when your dealing with super strong clear coats there are a couple different ways that will save you time and will be the fastest way to do it.

Number 1: Use a sander. This will use its course textures to scratch away the clear coat.

Number 2: Spray paint thinner on the surface, let dry then remove with terry cloth towel.

Number 3: Heavy steel wool pad, Use with Sheen Genie metal polish for fastest results.

The best way to do this when your working with a keg is number 2. Once you wipe off the clear coat and paint thinner you then want to use a buffing wheel with our metal polish to drive it into the metal and all the “pores” to bring out that super high gloss.

After this step is done you want to use our sealer to enhance the gloss. See we use crystalline polymer technology and what this is is where the gloss is able to add multiple layers on gloss on top of existing layers of the gloss. This is brand new to metal polish science and is only used in the very high end car waxes on the market to provide a more of a depth finish onto the metal surface. One to two applications of sealer with a quick wipe on and wipe off technique. This will also seal in that shine so that your keg will not lose it’s gloss for at least and guaranteed 6 months.

Sevierville Auto Fest

Sheen Genie attended the Sevierville Auto-Fest this year. The event deserves a shout out from us because it is located on the Smokies baseball field. The show had some complications the previous year with the city so this year was down from what we heard however the people and quality of cars was top of the line in any show circuit we have attended.

Several of the show cars that were featured in the car show were up in the 100,000 price range and for a serious classic hot rods then you know spending 100k on restoration in well above the average hot rod owner. Fr this reason Sheen Genie was happy to be there to increase the confidence of the serious and professional automotive enthusiast that were there as well. The show as we mentioned briefly before was held on the Smokies Baseball field so it was pleasant to be there and to look around.

We know that the show will be better next year as all the kinks were worked out and the association that is connected with the events are among the largest classic rat rod shows in America and for that matter the world. We Sheen Genie had a wonderful weekend there and convinced (haha) many classic car owners that our metal polishing system was the best by being able to show them first hand with so many personal promos the results and power of Sheen Genie.

Diamond Plate Metal Polish

Diamond plate tool boxes or diamond plate in general tend to haze and this is caused simply by natural weather to the metal. Diamond Plate is a beautiful metal when polished the thing is that it is so rough and bumpy that polishing it is very hard. Although with our metal polish you can polish it out you still should heed some tips on polishing your diamond plate.

When polishing diamond plate always use a terry cloth towel this helps with the long textures of the towel in getting around the crevices of the diamonds. You always want to fold the towel enough so that you can apply pressure without cutting your hand the diamonds are sharp and can and will cut through the towel another reason to use something that is inexpensive as the applicator.

After your diamond plate metal is polished out you want to protect it with our sealer. This allows the shine to continue to last. Simply wipe the sealer on and wipe it off. Be sure to spend a little extra time removing it so that the gloss is optimally visible. We recommend to re-polish the diamond plate one every six months due to it’s high proneness to oxidation and water spots unless you are in states where snow and rain come more often than the rest of the nation you should re-polish one every three months or as sees fit.

Metal Polish Sales

:) Hi, I’m the guy in the infomercial and Sheen Genie wanted me to post a page on the blog so I could give it some of my own personality. I will try to refrain from lines such as: Guys if you don’t have sunglasses on do not watch our video (kapow), Use it on your jewelry ladies but just don’t use it on your pots and pans… because you will fall in love with it, Isn’t that incredible, when was the last time it looked this good, now that’s how your wheels should really look, no one has ever seen aluminum look like this, if there was a better metal polish I would be selling that one because I only sell the best, just that simple and one of my personal favorites “If you do not fall absolutely in love with it not you just like it I mean in 6 months if you find a metal that it does not work on or it did not point blank blow your mind away we will buy it back from you no questions asked the number and website is on the back of each bottle!” :)

In all seriousness I was hired by Sheen Genie to sell and at first I did not know that the product was so incredible but I tried it and there came a new reality in my life about how truly incredible the metal polish is. I became so naturally excited about it that even regardless of my selling skills I would have still been able to sell 10’s of thousands of dollars worth of this product at events every weekend I would go to one and needless to say how much on TV!

I have selling positions offered to me all the time from companies that have several qualified sales people but I choose to be the face of Sheen Genie because I understand and know that the products not only work but that our metal polish sales. What I look for in products I sell is what problems do they solve, what are the key factors that separate this product from any other product in the same line and is the price we sell it for equal the value. I research this for endless hours and then come to my conclusion. When I decided to go with Sheen Genie I began to learn the product not the general abilities but the in’s and out’s and even till today I am still amazed with everything it does. It’s like they came back from the future or something because it is so advanced. I am still amazed at the shine it brings on new metals I am faced with all the time even though I have demonstrated it on thousands of unique pieces.

The point is this Sheen Genie is the top of the line for metal polish and that is why I sell it and why you should buy it!
