Rim Polishing

Rim polishing 101. Now that I’m sure all of you know our Sheen Genie Metal Glazer is very easy to use as we discussed on our rim polish page. So if you think this will be a huge tutorial on how to get the best results with secrets on how to use our polish then this is not the page for you. Our rim polish is very easy to use all you have to do is wipe it on and wipe it off. It will work on any rim surface aluminum, chrome, stainless steel, aluminum and ever clear-coated.

Polishing Technique # 1

However when polishing your rims we do recommend to use a terry towel to begin with so you can use the textured material to help assist with cleaning off the road grime or brake dust, then coming back on top of it with a dry micro-fiber so that you don’t scratch your chrome rim on the outside or in.

Polishing Clear Coated Rim

If your polishing rims that have a clear coat on them then you wont get the chrome gloss finish however your clear coat will look like glass. After your rims are all polished out you then want to make sure to use our Sheen Genie Sealer Glazer so that you prevent those water spots from coming back to your rims and also protecting air from touching the actual surface of your metal.
