When polishing stainless steel you need to have a very powerful metal polish that can get into the brushed crevices of your metal. Using a non abrasive polish will be very important to the success and gloss of your stainless steel because it won’t scratch. We at SHEEN GENIE recommend using a heavy steel wool pad with a drop of metal polish and sealer so it helps with the harsh bristles of the steel wool pad. Apply with a heavy duty terry towel and wipe until you can see the gloss straight through to your metal. Once you see that gloss you want to wipe it off with a clean dry terry towel or a micro fiber cloth, so that you don’t scratch your chrome looked finish.

Extra knowledge

Polishing stainless steel is different because it is usually standard for it to have a clear coat, thus making the polish redundant to use unless the factory protection is off. So if this is your case then just do as we have said above with the steel wool pad to break it down. Now if you have normal stainless steel that has not a clear coat just take a drop of the our Metal Glazer and it will polish it right up without a problem.
